Sitka Conservation Society Outreach

Tongass Tiny Home

The Tongass Tiny Home is a partnership between the Sitka Conservation Society and the Sitka School District. As part of the project, high school students in an advanced construction class built a tiny home with young growth timber harvested in the Tongass National Forest. I photographed the students involved in the final construction stages and this content was used for publicity and outreach efforts.

50th Anniversary wild foods potluck display

As part of the Sitka Conservation Society’s 50th Anniversary, I designed a photo display about the history, present, and future of conservation in Southeast Alaska. The display was installed at their annual Wild Foods Potluck and included historical photographs, my photography, and the images of several local photographers.
